Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Our packages start as low as $499! We offer many different options and programs to beat our competition. We are the lowest in the industry.
Q: CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS TOWARD THE ENTRY FEE?
Absolutely, Yes. Ask about our Quick Start package for $199.
Q: ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES OR HIDDEN CHARGES?
No. Only the price of package that you choose and other fees associated with the return that will be charged to your client, such as bank, technology, admin fee and service bureau fees again all charged to your customers and not our partners.
Q: WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?
Everything you need to operate a tax office except a location: IRS Registration, Software, Bank Products, Training, 24/7 IT and Tax Law Support, Marketing/Promotional strategy, and a Personal Coach to guide you every step of the way, and much more.
Q: HOW MUCH CAN MY TAX BUSINESS MAKE?
What you make depends on your effort and dedication. We will help you from start to finish. Our typical first year partners make $20,000-$50,000 in 90 days or less.
Q: How do you offer the training?
We offer a variety of virtual/online training courses, and videos with full tax preparation training from the start to the finish. We offer in person training for those local partners.
Q: Do you offer customer support?
Absolutely KTS offers top tier year round customer support including assistance with technical and tax form related questions. We also offer installation help for single or network installations (if needed). We extend our office hours during peak season from January through April.
Q: Are all the forms included such as state and business forms?
Yes, we offer all the forms in our packages. You will receive all the state, federal and business forms needed for your customers.
Q. How long after my client receives their tax refund do I have to wait to receive me preparation fees?
Generally (depending on your bank but) 24-48 hours after your clients refund is funded you will receive your preparation fees into your bank account or however you decided to have them dispersed.
Q. What all qualifications does a person need to start a tax preparation business?
Actually there are no specific qualifications needed to run your own tax preparation business, no specific education or prior experience needed. A PTIN is required by the IRS to qualify you as a tax preparer. It doesn’t require a test just a payment of $50.00.
Q: Why is your software and system so inexpensive upfront to purchase?
Because of our companies buying power and software provider relationships we have built, we are able to offer software at a much lower price than our competition.
Q: What are the banks that KTS use for processing bank products?
The following banks are fully integrated within the software: SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group), Republic Bank, Refundo, and Refund Advantage
Q: Do I have direct contact capabilities to a support hot line if I need software help during the season?
Yes you will be able to contact KTS Technical Support directly if you have any software issues.
Q: DOES CREDIT MATTER?
No. Credit does not matter at all-good or bad.
Q: DOES MY BACKGROUND MATTER?
No, but to get an EFIN monetary related crimes may hinder you, call us for details, we can still help.
Q: IS THERE AN EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIREMENT?

Yes. We will support you in as many as we agree you can handle.
Q: AM I RESTRICTED TO A TERRITORY?
No. We will help you locate in the most lucrative area based upon very specific zip code data.
Q: HOW WILL I BE PAID?
We pay every Friday with one week in the rears.
Q: CAN I HAVE THE OPTION TO ISSUE THE CUSTOMER’S TAX REFUND ON DEBIT CARDS OR CHECKS?
Yes we offer several different options including direct deposit, paper check, debit cards, and Walmart 2 Cash.
